Comprehensive site for information about carcinoid and neuroendocrine cancer.  From research to nutrition,  symptoms to treatments, clinical trials to lists of specialists who concentrate on neuroendocrine cancers, you'll find carcinoid related info here.

  • Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF)

Information and fundraising group to help find a cure for carcinoid.  The Caring for Carcinid Foundation funds research and sponsors fundraising and awareness activites. Features include an "ON CALL" button to ask leading physicians questions about carcinoid & NET cancer.

    National coalition group to raise funds for research for a cure to cancers of all types

  • Hospice Net

 The online site for Hospice, an organization providing support to patients and families facing life-threatening illness.  Info included for patients, children, caregivers and bereavement

  • Hospice Foundation of America (HFA)

Helping those who cope personally or professionally with terminal illness, death and the process of grief and bereavement.

  • Office of Disability Employment Policy  (ODEP)  

ODEP is the US government's Dept of Labor site for Disability Employment Policy.  Many links can be found here for employment issues you may face.


  • Job Accommodation Network (JAN)

JAN is a free consulting service designed to increase the employability of people with disabilities by (1) providing individualized worksite accomodations solutions; (2) providing technical assistance regarding the ADA and other disability related legislation; and (3) educating callers about self-employment options.  JAN can be accessed by phone at 800-526-7234 or at the website.

    A must-have for any one touched by cancer...newly diagnosed, survivor or caregiver.  This set of cd's and a workbook is provided FREE by the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS).
  • Association of Cancer Online Resources (ACOR)
    Messages boards for various cancers.  The Carcinoid list monitored by several doctors who provide answers to questions posed.  Good resource for connection to carcinoid & NET survivors & caregivers over the English speaking parts of the world.
