- Dr. Thomas O'Dorisio, University of IA, Iowa City, IA. He is my "carcinoid expert" and he is the one who diagnosed me in July 07.
- Dr. Richard McKittrick, Kansas City Cancer Centers South. Kansas City, MO. He is my "local" oncologist and he's wonderful. Very willing to work with and listen to the carcinoid "experts".
- Dr. Mike Zaruba, Auburn, NE. An exceptional primary care doctor who is now very experienced in testing for Carcinoid and treatment.
- Dr. Jean Botha, Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Absolutely incredible and talented liver, bowel and neuroendocrine surgeon.

Diagnosis: 2005 Classic Left Bronchial Carcinoid 1.8x1.5x1.3 cm (Less than 1% MIBI well differentiated neuroendocrine tumor- i.e. typical Chromogranin & Synaptophysin positive) ; 2007 Right Middle Lobe Carcinoid confirmed by bronchial biopsy. Later when the lobe was removed, they couldn't find the carcinoid tumor. Presently - no known tumors.

Diagnosis: Islet cell tumor [5.3x5x8 cm] on the pancreas head, mostly non-productive, displays some characteristics of a glucagonoma. Liver mets estimated to be causing a 10-15% tumor burden with the largest lesion 1.7 cm and numerous smaller ones. No detected mets elsewhere.
